"We wanted to make an extremely thought-provoking film that reaches the very tip of mankinds problems and then comes back down.     Raging Waters (31/12/1995) - Zakkai and the kids must smuggle a scroll containing a story about Jesus to a church across town, and use the aqueducts to do so. Things seem to go swimmingly until Zak is captured by a Roman centurion named Tacticus.

Catacomb Rescue (01/11/1996) - Ben and the gang must help a missionary named Ephriam escape Rome, but first they need to secure travel papers for him. When Nihilus and Tacticus come searching for Ephriam, Ben and Anna lead the gang through the catacombs.     Ready, Aim, Fire! (15/12/1996) - Zak's uncle Mordecai has come to visit, and Zak goes overboard trying to impress him. Meanwhile, Nihilus and Nero have plans to renovate the city via fire, and Tacticus must find a way to stall them and give Ben and his church a chance to escape.

Sink or Swim (23/12/1996) - Justin learns about a slave ship where his and Marcus' father, Joshua ben Judah, may be imprisoned, and Ben agrees to help Justin search the ship. But the gang is caught off-guard when the ship is suddenly called out to sea to do battle with a rebel slave ship.

Starlight Escape (31/12/1996) - Rome has become too dangerous to hold large meetings, so Ben, Helena, and the kids travel to Ostia with an old guide named Milo. It's no easy journey as they are hunted by Roman patrols the entire way. Ben and Helena use the long trip to tell the kids the story of Jesus' birth and the visit of the Magi.

Roar in the Night (08/05/1997) - Marcus has befriended two lion cubs who have escaped from Nero's cruel animal trainer. He is determined to find a way to keep the cubs out of Nero's clutches, but that may mean having to release them in Africa instead of keeping them.

Captured! (01/10/1997) - Cyrus is captured by a patrol while showing off his acrobatic skills, only to be sold to a local merchant who is impressed by Cyrus' talent. Cyrus finds himself living the good life, and when Ben & co. try to rescue him, he refuses to go back to the bakery.     Trapped! (27/10/1997) - Tacticus' faith is discovered when he refuses to participate in the mandatory worship of Nero at the emperor's birthday party. Ben and the gang enlist the help of Empress Sabina's servant Miriam to rescue Tacticus.

The Easter Story Keepers (1998)

In AD 64, when Emperor Nero is persecuting Christians and setting fire to Rome, will The Storykeepers be able to keep the story and stories of Jesus alive? Will The Storykeepers manage to stay alive? Can anyone be trusted?

The Easter Storykeepers is a story of friends who can’t be relied on, enemies pretending to be friends, and a Roman enemy who finally becomes a friend when Ben and his orphans help him to understand what The Storykeepers are telling him about Jesus.

After Tacticus, Nero’s leading guard, tells Nero that he is a Christian, Nero, with the help of the evil Nihilus, decides to burn all the Christians out of Rome. Things get too hot to handle for Ben and Helena, Zakkai, Justin, Marcus, Anna and Cyrus.

Helena, Cyrus, Justin and Marcus manage to escape Nihilus’s attempts to burn them out of the bakery, but it leads to Ben, Justin and Marcus getting arrested in the catacombs under the city. Once in prison, Ben, Justin and Marcus meet Capella, one of the Roman soldiers who crucified Jesus. What unfolds from this unique meeting is the story of Easter. From Judas’ betrayal through to Jesus re-appearing in the garden, the Easter story carefully unfolds. Meanwhile, in parallel with the Easter story, Ben too is threatened with crucifixion.

In a film of high action and drama, trust and mistrust, denial and recognition, and family love, once again The Storykeepers confront the evil Nero and Nihilus while trying to keep the story of Jesus alive.

The Storykeepers never deny Jesus, even under the threat of death, but the big question is, ‘Will all the gang escape? And where will they go?’

The Christmas Story Keepers (1998)

The Christmas Storykeepers is about journeys and miracles.  The Journey of Mary and Joseph to Bethlehem and the miracle of the birth of Jesus unfolds though the journey The Storykeepers are forced to make.

From the burnt out streets of Rome and the terror of the evil Emperor Nero, to the burning sands of Africa, The Storykeepers carry the story of Jesus’ birth and life to the whole world.

Ben and Helena, Zak and their “family” of orphans continue their Storykeeping life and fight for survival as the miracle of Christmas unfolds.

But it would not be The Storykeepers if there was not an adventure or three along
the way.

While Nero sets Rome on fire, The Storykeepers rescue two lion cubs and their mother; organize a daring escape; cross the sea from Ostia to Shemhadar; run out of water in the desert; run into the ever evil Nihilus and yet still manage to come out singing.

In a seventy minute feature film with songs, sadness, stories and the Christmas story for the whole family, The Christmas Storykeepers is as timeless as the nativity story itself.  This is Christmas as you have never seen it before.

Noelle (2007)

Sometimes the greatest gift is a second chance...

Father Keene is an obedient but troubled young man who has buried himself in religion as a way to cover past guilt. He arrives at a snowy Cape Cod fishing village as a “hit man” for the local archdiocese, to shut down a dying church with nary a care for its oddball assortment of parishioners or their lovable but seemingly inept pastor. It turns out, however, that someone has a better idea. For Keene is haunted by visions of a little girl – “Noรซlle”- a Dickens-like reminder of his unwanted child from a past relationship, the very reason he turned to the priesthood in the first place. She pursues him relentlessly, longing only to deliver a simple message, “All is forgiven.” As he finally comes to embrace these words, it changes not only himself but the entire community.

This powerful film is not simply festive and humorous, but because it’s set at Christmas, it becomes an allegory of Christ himself coming to us as a child, sent to a world running from God in guilt and shame, to deliver the very same message… “All is forgiven.”

A Man Named Pearl (2006)

"In this life you're gonna have obstacles. The thing about it is, don't let those obstacles determine where you go."

Documentary filmmakers Scott Galloway and Brent Pierson join forces in telling the sweet story (Docu-Drama) of Pearl Fryar, an African-American factory worker from South Carolina who broke racial stereotypes and astounded skeptical neighbors when he won the Iris Garden Club's Yard of the Month award.

Determined to win the honor and put racist ideas to rest, Fryar manicured his garden to perfection, proving wrong the local belief that blacks don't take care of their yards. In a predominantly white community, he became the first black person to hold the award. Though he lacked any gardening experience, Fryar never let this obstacle deter him, and went on to create an elaborate garden, complete with beautifully sculpted hedges and a maze-like area where he carved out the words "Love, Peace, & Goodwill."

Galloway and Pierson capture this simple and powerful message in a straightforward manner, letting Fryar's fanciful garden creations and the inspired visitors who flock to them yearly speak for themselves.

The Greatest Adventure: Stories from the Bible (1985-1993)

The Creation
The three protagonists journey back to a time in the pre-Noahic flood world, and a storyteller (voiced by Les Tremayne who also voices God) recounts the events in the Garden of Eden to them. At the same time, they learn their own lessons in honesty and virtue after getting in trouble with a local gardener in the land of Nod due to them having tricked him into letting them eat four apples free of charge.
This episode featured Marc Singer as the voice of Adam, with Stephanie Zimbalist as Eve, and Tim Curry as the Serpent (Satan). This episode does contain backside nudity and concealed frontal nudity for Adam and Eve.

Noah's Ark
The trio find themselves assisting Noah (voiced by Lorne Greene) and his family in the building of the Ark. They manage to join the crew for the long stay aboard the Ark, helping tend to the animals and keep things in order. They hop aboard the Ark right before the rains come to drown the evil army that is threatening to burn down the vessel.
Along with Esther and the Nativity, this is one of only three episodes where the Biblical characters are confused by the use of modern language (when Moki decides to build a life raft, one of Noah's sons doesn't know what a life raft is).

Joseph and His Brothers
The trio befriend Joseph (voiced by Barry Bostwick) and learn about his coat of many colors. While unable to alter the events in any way, they do learn about the conspiracy of his brothers. As they are pursuing Joseph to find out what he will be doing in his tenure as a slave in Egypt, they find another Doorway of Time portal and jump ahead 13 years. They continue to stumble upon these so that they can, in a glance, be near Joseph for all the events of his significant to his life.

Moses
The trio, after being in a sandstorm, find themselves in Egypt. They are mistaken as Israelites by two Egyptian slave masters and are enslaved with the rest of the Isrealites. There they watch Moses and Aaron battle Pharaoh with the Ten Plagues of Egypt and walk through the Red Sea.

Joshua
The trio find themselves in Cannan. Mistaken for Israelite spies they find themselves pursued by soldiers from Jerico. While Derek and Margo escape to the otherside of the Jordan, Moki is captured and force to work the walls of Jerico. With the help of an Israelite soldier and Rahab, Derek and Margo rescue Moki before the walls fall.

Samson and Delilah
Derek, Margo, and Moki find themselves witnessing the time of the Judges, the tenure of Samson in particular. They learn about Samson (voiced by Perry King) as the strong man and how he eventually fell to his enemies because of a woman named Delilah (voiced by Linda Purl).

David and Goliath
The three jump through time yet again and find themselves lost. As they search for information, they are threatened by wild animals. A young shepherd arrives on the scene and rescues them. They learn that this shepherd just happens to be the future King David (voiced by Robby Benson). They follow David to Jerusalem, where they watch as he tries to help mend Saul's ill temper. Finally, they witness the defeat of Goliath (voiced by Herschel Bernardi).

Daniel and the Lions' Den
The trio of time travelers find their way into Babylon. Immediately finding themselves standing out in the crowd, they are suddenly befriended by the prophet Daniel (voiced by Gavin MacLeod). He takes them into his house and gives them clothing to help them better fit in. A servant of the king offers them jobs, however reluctantly. In spite some hesitance, King Belshazzar and the party-arranging servant agree to use cups stolen from the Temple of Solomon for the celebration.
An angry hand of God intervenes after the king uses the cups to engage in blasphemy, and writes on the wall the words "Mene Mene Tekel Parsin," vowing an end to Babylon. Daniel warns about the meaning of the writing, and the implication that Persia and Media are about to co-conquer the region. The warning is ignored. Belshazaar is assassinated and the Mede King Darius replaces him.
Daniel quickly gains favor with the new king; but jealous, evil conspirators want revenge. The time travelers try to intercept the plot, but end up being chased away. Darius, foolishly acting out of pride, accepts the challenge of the conspirators. Daniel is arrested and thrown into the lions' den, for refusing to give up his prayer life.
The hand of God once again intervenes, forcing shut the jaws of the lions. When Darius finds Daniel still alive, he learns of how he was deceived. He immediately has Daniel rescued from the pit and instead feeds the conspirators to the lions. After Moki is saved from nearly falling into the pit himself by accident, the three time travellers decide to leave.

Queen Esther
Some time later, the travelers find themselves in Persia in the city of Susa (Shushan in the video). The king Ahasuerus (also known as Xerxes I of Persia) has returned from a humiliating defeat against the Greeks, the battle of Platea and decides to throw a party. Esther and her elderly cousin Mordecai befriend the time travelers and try to help them fit in with the party, providing them clothes. The travelers routinely confuse their ancient hosts with 20th-century slang and technological terminology.
When the queen, Vashti, blows off a request by the king complete with an insult, he grows angry with her and calls for a divorce, sending her into exile. Without making it an official law, the king decrees soon afterwards that out of respect, those beneath the king should bow before Haman out of respect, as he also gains favor from the king. He immediately starts a contest all throughout the Persian Empire in search of a new queen. Esther and Margo are chosen to be among the contestants, in spite Margo's initial defiance towards Tarsik, whom she labels "Buster."
Esther ends up winning the king's favor and Margo becomes one of her honored palace guests. When Mordecai realizes the abusive implications behind Haman's desire for others to bow before him, Mordecai refuses to bow routinely, irritating Haman. Mordecai's justification is that men should really only bow before God.
Haman, feeling insulted by Mordecai's defiance, formulates a plot in an attempt to get revenge. To win legitimacy for his plot, he tricks the king into signing into law a decree giving him power to eradicate all the Jews living in the kingdom.
The three travelers do their part to help Esther and Mordecai formulate a plot of their own, to expose Haman's deception to the king. Their plan succeeds, and when the king learns that Queen Esther herself would be a target of Haman's plot, the king has Haman executed for treason. The travelers leave soon afterward.
Along with The Nativity and Noah's Ark, the Esther episode is one of only three in which the travelers' usage of 20th-century terms leaves the ancients utterly confused. In most episodes, the confusion revolves exclusively around the protagonists' lack of understanding of the ancient world, combined with Moki's implied lack of understanding of nearly everything.
This episode featured Helen Slater as the voice of Queen Esther; with Dean Jones as King Ahasuerus, Werner Klemperer as Haman, and Ron Rifkin as Mordecai.

Jonah
Jonah (voiced by Alan Oppenheimer) recounts to the three his attempts to escape his calling and how he eventually wound up witnessing for God in the city of Ninevah anyway.

The Nativity
Whilst getting themselves into some manner of trouble in the marketplace of Jerusalem, the three protagonists learn about the arrival of the angel Gabriel to the Virgin Mary (voiced by Helen Hunt). They know that the time of Jesus' birth will be soon. As they are doing their thing, King Herod (voiced by Vincent Price) is going hysterical over the notion of a new king arriving. He passes his time meanwhile by taunting others with his monkey.
Along with the story of Esther and Noah's Ark, The Nativity is one of three episodes in which the travelers' use of 20th century terms leaves the locals confused (Margo makes a reference to "soft drink cans", which the camel-owner questions).
When the Magi arrive at Herod's palace, he tries to trick them into giving away the location of the baby Jesus. The plan fails when the Magi decide not to return to Herod. The time travelers follow Mary and Joseph (voiced by Gregory Harrison) from a distance on their way to Bethlehem. They do not get directly involved in the manger scene until all the potential threats to Jesus have left.

The Miracles of Jesus
The time travelers jump a few years ahead, and encounter an elderly version of the young man man raised from the dead in the city of Nain. He recounts to them the events surrounding the various miracles of Jesus' life.
Featuring David Ackroyd as Jesus and Harold Gould as Benjamin.

The Easter Story
The time travelers' final stop before being sent back to the 20th century, they encounter Mark (voiced by Richard Thomas) as he is gathering material to write the Gospel of Mark. He informs them of the events surrounding the Garden of Gethsemene, Jesus' numerous trials before Annas, Caiaphas, Herod, and Pilate, as well as the Crucifixion and Resurrection. He finishes by telling them of the Ascension. The travelers finally walk away, thanking Mark for the information. Jesus was voiced by Joe Spano.

Pioneers Of The Spirit: Dante Alighieri (1996)

Throughout history a few special individuals have felt a spiritual longing so profound that nothing could satisfy their hunger. Facing uncharted territory, they mapped their own souls, seeking that mystical place where the self meets the divine. We call them Pioneers of the Spirit.

Born in Florence, Italy, Dante first saw Beatrice in 1274 when he was nine years old, and she became the inspiration for his later poetic works. Her death in 1290 was a profound shock to Dante. He was a soldier for a while and entered politics where he sided with the enemies of Pope Boniface VIII. He was eventually banished from Florence. His best known work is the perennial classic, The Divine Comedy — the poet's imaginary journey to hell and purgatory.

John Bunyan: Journey Of A Pilgrim (2007)

A look at the man who wrote The Pilgrim's Progress , the most circulated book of all time, next to the Bible.

This documentary, filmed at the John Bunyan Museum in Bedford, England, presents a fascinating look at the life of John Bunyan, chronicled by Bunyan expert John Pestell, author of Travel with John Bunyan.

Pestell recounts Bunyan's mischievous childhood, the nightmares that plagued him, and the events and influences that impacted his life. It was years later, well into adulthood, that Bunyan finally found inner peace. No longer plagued by fears and insecurities, he began preaching, although it was illegal to do so outside of the State church. This led to his eventual arrest and imprisonment.

During the twelve years he spent in prison, he wrote The Pilgrim's Progress , the story of Christian on his journey of life. When Bunyan was finally released from prison, he took his finished manuscript to a printer, saying, "I have a manuscript of little worth." It became an instant bestseller and remains the world's most circulated book, next to the Bible.

Truth Prevails: The Undying Faith Of Jan Hus (2007)

Almost 600 years ago, a humble peasant stood alone against pope, emperor and king. He could either deny the truth he believed with all his heart, or he could die at the stake. Today Jan Hus is little known outside of his native Czech Republic, but in his day he challenged corrupt church officials and inspired thousands to live for truth. In an age when Europe was divided between three popes, when pestilence claimed one in three lives and church offices were available to the highest bidder, Hus defied the earthly authorities to seek truth directly from the Word of God.

Truth Prevails, a quote from Hus himself, is an hour-long documentary from The Christian History Institute and award-winning filmmakers Jerry and Misha Griffith. Using location footage, interviews with prominent historians and period artwork, this film follow the struggles of Jan Hus and the efforts of modern scholars which ultimately led Pope John Paul II to apologize for the Church's actions.

Truth Prevails is more than just a look at an amazing life in a turbulent time. It is also a thought-provoking examination of many difficult issues facing anyone living in any time: When should we stand our ground and when should we back down? Which issues are worth dying for? How should we speak out against what we know is wrong? And ultimately, when should we ask for and offer forgiveness?

The Fanny Crosby Story (2002)

This is the amazing biography of the blind hymn writer, Fanny Crosby.

As the writer of more than 10,000 hymns, all penned after the age of 40,she is credited with authoring more verse than any human in history.

The tragic mistreatment by a charlatan masquerading as a doctor, blinded Fanny shortly after birth. Nevertheless, she learned to function as a sighted child except for her inability to read. She was an extraordinary child filled with joy and mischief! At her grandmother's knee, she began to demonstrate an exceptional memory, and memorized several complete books of the bible, including Ruth and Proverbs.

She left home at age 15 to begin her formal education. One of the most notable pupils of the New York Institute for Special Education, Fanny was also the first woman to address the US Congress.

Fulfilling the roles of wife, mother, friend, teacher, nurse to the sick during the cholera epidemic, humanitarian to the poor and desenfranchised, and friend of presidents - Fanny Crosby was an exceptional woman by any standard.

And her legacy lives on through the thousands of hymns that are still sung today.

Hymns Of Praise: Charles Wesley (2005)

Charles Wesley penned more than 6,500 magnificent hymns. Some are among the most beloved in Christian history -- "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing," "Christ The Lord Is Risen Today," and many others appear in the hymnals of every Christian denomination.

In Wesley's time, congregational hymn singing was a revolutionary idea. Anglican churches had marvelous choirs, but the congregations rarely sang. Everything changed when brothers John and Charles Wesley, on their way to Georgia, were inspired by a group of Moravians singing vibrant German hymns. John became quite fluent in German and translated many of the Moravian hymns into English. Following his conversion, Charles often wrote a hymn every day, and the brothers published numerous hymnals. Charles' poems were often sung to popular tunes of the day. He even rewrote popular songs to give them a spiritual message. His hymns speak clearly of the theology and belief of the early Methodist movement.

In this fascinating one-man play, you'll hear the true stories of the early days of Methodism, the events that led up to his conversion, his brother John's "Aldersgate Experience," and the astonishing events that unfolded as the Wesley brothers first began to preach -- and sing -- in the fields of England.

John Wesley (1954)

A re-release of the J. Arthur Rank historical classic made in 1954. This cinema drama follows the life of John Wesley from when he was saved out of a burning house as a child and thereby marked for life as a "brand from the burning." His Oxford days, a disastrous mission to America, his decisive Aldersgate experience, his bringing the Gospel into the daily lives of alienated masses, the founding of Methodism, and his astounding role in raising the moral and religious climate in 18th century England, and much more are set forth with careful dependence on the historical sources.

John Wesley was one of the most influential ministers in all of Christian history, and this old but still potent film provides an excellent introduction to the major events in his life and the many obstacles he had to overcome.

The Real DaVinci Code (2005)

History...or hokum? Take a look at the facts on which Dan Brown built his blockbuster novel

THE REAL DA VINCI CODE

You've read the novel. Now learn the real story. With intellectual rigor and a hint of impish humor noted British actor and commentator Tony Robinson follows the trail laid down by Dan Brown in The Da Vinci Code and undertakes his own quest for the Holy Grail.

Interviewing such respected experts as Biblical scholar Elaine Pagels, Robinson crisscrosses Europe and the Holy Land, from Scotland's Rosslyn Chapel to Jerusalem's Temple Mount, in hot pursuit of historical truth. He also sits down with Michael Baigent, who co-authored Holy Blood, Holy Grail the controversial book from which Brown drew the theories underpinning his novel.

Did a sect of medieval warrior-monks uncover a shocking secret about Jesus, Mary Magdalene, and the Holy Grail? Did Leonardo Da Vinci plant clues to the long-suppressed truth in his paintings? Do shadowy societies protect the Grail, even today? The Real Da Vinci Code is an informative, entertaining investigation that authoritatively separates imaginative fiction from historical fact.

Hanged On A Twisted Cross: Dietrich Bonhoeffer (1996)

Biblical theologian Dietrich Bonhoeffer was executed by the Nazis just days before the Allies defeated Germany in World War II. This gripping documentary narrated by Ed Asner captures the life, times, and thought of Bonhoeffer. Using rare archival footage, documents, and visits to original locations, we get an intimate portrait of a man whose life and writings grow in their influence and speak powerfully to issues of our own day some 50 years later.

How does a man of peace come to assist violence in combating unrestrained evil? What do you do when deep-seated patriotism for your nation compels you to oppose your fatherland and its demonic leader? What course do you take when your love for the Gospel conflicts with your tragically compromised church? What is the responsibility of a follower of God when others are being persecuted and sent to prison camps and gas chambers?

As shown in this two-hour program, Bonhoeffer confronted these and other issues with a searching Biblical faith and personal courage in a way that speaks to every generation.

Cromwell (1970)

Oliver Cromwell is a courageous and God-fearing country squire, magistrate and former member of Parliament. King Charles I's policies, including the enclosing of common land for the use of wealthy landowners and the introduction of "Popish" and "Romish" rituals into the Church of England, have become increasingly annoying to many, including Cromwell. In fact Charles regards himself as a devout Anglican, permitting his French Queen to practise Roman Catholicism in private but forbidding her to bring up the young Prince of Wales in that faith. Cromwell plans to take his family to the New World, but, on the eve of their departure, he is persuaded by his friends to stay and resume a role in politics.

Charles has summoned Parliament for the first time in eleven years, as he needs money in order to fight wars against the Scots and the Irish. Although he reluctantly agrees to execute his hated adviser the Earl of Strafford, the Parliament of England will still not grant him his requests unless he agrees to reforms that could lead to a constitutional monarchy. Committed to the divine right of kings, and under pressure from his queen to stand firm, Charles refuses. When he attempts to arrest five members of Parliament (in reality Cromwell was not one of them), war breaks out in England itself, Parliament against the king, both sides convinced that God is on their side.

When the Parliamentary forces in which Cromwell is a cavalry officer proved ineffective, he sets up the New Model Army and soon turns the tide against the king. Charles goes so far as to call on help from Catholic nations, which disgusts his Protestant supporters. He is finally defeated but, a brave man in his own way, he still refuses to give in to the demands of Cromwell and his associates for a system of government in which Parliament will have as much say in the running of the country as the king.

Cromwell—who has had to maintain discipline in the highly politicised New Model Army by hanging a ringleader of an incipient mutiny—later hears from Sir Edward Hyde, the king's once-loyal adviser, that Charles has secretly been raising a Catholic army to resume the war against Parliament. He and his supporters thus have Charles put on trial for treason. Charles, found guilty and sentenced to death, faces execution bravely and even his most ardent critics are moved by his dignity. There is little celebration or satisfaction over his death, even on Cromwell's part.

However, Parliament soon proves itself just as useless in governing the country and, like the late king, Cromwell is forced to undertake a coup d'etat. But where Charles failed, Cromwell succeeds: his troops remove the MPs from the House of Commons, leaving Cromwell sitting symbolically alone in the Chamber as virtual dictator.

The film ends with a voice-over stating that Cromwell served very successfully for five years as Lord Protector before Charles I's son, Charles II, returned as king of an England "never to be the same again".

The Story of the Twelve Apostles (1999)

This documentary is a non-evangelical interpretation of the ancient history behind the story of Jesus and his 12 apostles. Martin Sheen narrates and several biblical scholars, university professors, and religious leaders give their insights and comments on Jesus as a leader and his relationship with his followers. Some attempt is made in the video to separate myth from fact in the stories about this important part of history that have come down through the centuries. A look at life under Roman rule and the circumstances surrounding the era when Jesus performed most of his work make up the body of the video, while dramatic reenactments of significant events add to the understanding of the lives of the apostles both before and after Jesus' death.

Christianity: The First Two Thousand Years (2001)

Scholars explore the intertwined fates of the Roman Empire and the faith it persecuted, then later adopted. Theologians reveal how the new testament was shaped, how pagan festivals were transformed into Christian holidays, and how modern discoveries shed new light on the dawn of Christianity. Scottish Covenanters (1998)

This video presents a penetrating look at a movement in 17th-century Scotland that is little known today but whose courage and fortitude are woven into the fabric of the Scottish people. The Covenanters covenanted with God for the good of the people. This video covers the story of fifty years with a short prelude to help understand the reason why they acted as they did. Their conflict was basically spiritual, but, due to prevailing and constant persecution, they were drawn into deeper conflicts and complexities. They fought long and hard for the crown right and prerogatives of Christ over His Church with devastating results upon themselves.

The Truth Project

Lesson 1 - Veritology: What is Truth?
The Truth Project begins by defining truth as "that which corresponds to reality." This absolute and eternal truth, at the heart of Jesus' mission on earth, continues to be the focal point of the Cosmic Battle in our own time.

Lesson 2 - Philosophy and Ethics: Says Who?
Truth is not simply an academic concept. The way we think about truth has a direct bearing upon the way we live our lives. What's more, our understanding of right and wrong is directly dependent on our worldview: is the universe God's creation or a closed cosmic cube?

Lesson 3 - Anthropology: Who is Man?
The Bible tells us that man was created in God's image but fell from innocence through sin. Modern psychology, on the other hand, asserts that man is inherently good and behaves badly only under the influence of social or institutional pressure. This lesson explores the implications of both views.

Lesson 4 - Theology: Who is God?
Eternal life, according to Jesus, is knowing God in an intimate, personal, and relational way. Such knowledge, which is possible only because of divine revelation, transforms us from the inside out as we begin to see ourselves in the light of His majesty and holiness.

Lesson 5 - Science: What is True?
Science, the "systematic study of the natural world," brings to light innumerable evidences of Intelligent Design. But Darwinian theory transforms science from the honest investigation of nature into a vehicle for propagating a godless philosophy. (Part One)
A careful examination of molecular biology and the fossil record demonstrates that evolution is not a "proven fact." Meanwhile, history shows that ideas, including Darwinism as a social philosophy, have definite consequences that can turn ugly when God is left out of the picture. (Part Two)

Lesson 6 - History: Whose Story?
Does the past have an objective actuality and significance? Or does it, as postmodernist philosophy asserts, exist primarily inside our heads? This tour considers the meaning of history as God's story and shows us why remembering is so important.

Lesson 7 - Sociology: The Divine Imprint
The order we observe in the natural realm is even more apparent in the social systems God has established: family, church, community, state, labor, and the union between God and man. Life is a series of relationships that flow out of and reflect the Trinitarian nature of the Creator.

Lesson 8 - Unio Mystica: Am I Alone?
Is it possible for the infinite, eternal Creator to dwell within the heart of an individual? The implications of this great mystery, which represents the very core of the Christian faith, are explored at length in this examination of the most intimate of the social spheres.

Lesson 9 - The State: Whose Law?
Of all the social spheres, the state, to which God grants the power of the sword for the punishment of evil and the preservation of the good, has the greatest potential to go awry if it oversteps its authority. The civil magistrate must always remember his place under the sovereignty of God รข€“ otherwise, havoc will ensue.

Lesson 10 - The American Experiment: Stepping Stones
America is unique in the history of the world. On these shores a people holding to a biblical worldview have had an opportunity to set up a system of government designed to keep the state within its divinely ordained boundaries. Tour #10 follows the history of this experiment and explores what happens to freedom when God is forgotten.

Lesson 11 - Labor: Created to Create
Contrary to a great deal of contemporary popular opinion, work is not a "curse." God Himself is active and creative, and He calls man to share in the joy of His activity and creativity. Labor, economics, media, and the creative arts all have a role to play in magnifying the glory of the Creator.

Lesson 12 - Community and Involvement: God Cares, do I?
The ethical law and the meaning of the Christian life are summed up in the commandment to love God and one's neighbor. This command is the source of the believer's motivation for self-sacrificial service to the needy and their personal involvement in our culture.
