Maafa 21: Black Genocide In 21st Century America (2009)

It is called Maafa21, a Swahili word which means “A terrible tragedy” and used to define the time of the middle passage during the slave trade and “21st century” because it reveals the “Maafa” has not ended but is still being carried out today through abortion.

Maafa 21 shows the connection from slavery and eugenics to birth control, abortion and black genocide today and is routinely called “stunning,” “breathtaking,” and “jaw-dropping.” Many viewers have said they were left “speechless” by what they saw and several have told us that it filled them with anger. One African-American pastor and 1960’s civil rights activist said, “I had always been suspicious about some of this stuff, but this film connects the dots in a way I never really understood before.” Another described it as “lightening in a bottle” and said that for the first time in his life he has a tool to educate the African-American community about the abortion lobby’s real agenda.

Maafa21 is having a huge impact on many who claim to be pro-choice, especially within the African American community, because it proves with irrefutable documentation that abortion is simply an extension of racism and eugenics targeting blacks for centuries. After watching Maafa21, viewers often comment that it “connects the dots.”

Chariots of Fire (1981)

One of the most inspiring films of all time!

The inspiring true story of two runners from the United Kingdom, Harold Abrahams and Eric Liddell. Contrasting the spiritual motives of one man versus the more selfish goals of the other, their fierce, personal competition ends up uniting them in a great victory in the 1924 Olympics.

The come-from-behind winner of the 1981 Oscar for best picture, Chariots of Fire either strikes you as either a cold exercise in mechanical manipulation or as a tale of true determination and inspiration. The heroes are an unlikely pair of young athletes who ran for Great Britain in the 1924 Paris Olympics: devout Protestant Eric Liddell (Ian Charleson), a divinity student whose running makes him feel closer to God, and Jewish Harold Abrahams (Ben Cross), a highly competitive Cambridge student who has to surmount the institutional hurdles of class prejudice and anti-Semitism. There's delicious support from Ian Holm (as Abrahams's coach) and John Gielgud and Lindsay Anderson as a couple of Cambridge fogies.

Vangelis's soaring synthesized score, which seemed to be everywhere in the early 1980s, also won an Oscar. Chariots of Fire was the debut film of British television commercial director Hugh Hudson (Greystoke) and was produced by David Puttnam.

Peters, is a moving picture monument in honor of over 18,000 men, women, and children who suffered death, imprisonment, and slavery for defending the crown rights of King Jesus during the Killing Times of Scotland (1660-1688). It is our hope that this short film would introduce many to the dear Covenanters by sparking a greater interest in their lives and writings. Our intent is to ultimately honor God by honoring our forefathers in the faith with this “stone of remembrance.”

To God be the glory!

Riding Tornado (2009)

Tornado is a true life story of patience, endurance and passion. Directed by Regardt van den Bergh, the picture tells the story of two damaged souls: Pierre, a depressed and damaged young man and Tornado, an emotionally tormented horse. Sensing Tornado’s potential, Pierre travels to Noenieput, in the Groen Kalahari, to find Barrie Burger, a horse whisperer. With Barrie’s advice, Pierre and Tornado embark on a journey of healing and self discovery, one that will change their lives forever.

This film is about broken people, says director Regard van den Bergh. I believe we are all broken and we could all do with some healing. Fresh from the completion of his previous film Faith Like Potatoes, van den Bergh is eager to tell another life derived story.  As a filmmaker, for me it is the most exciting thing to tell a true story and, in the telling of the story discover the integrity of the story and remain true to that without compromising anything of that person’s life.

Having spent more than twenty years as a missionary traveling the Kalahari on horseback, Barrie developed a special talent. He gained a deep understanding of horses and learnt how to whisper to them. He teaches Pierre how to hear Tornado’s whisper, understand his pain, and release him from it.  As Pierre gains Tornado’s trust by following Barrie’s ten whispering steps, Pierre too begins to change. In the quietness and the stillness and the vastness of the Kalahari, I also started to find my true calling.

Tornado was an Arab horse of the purest bloodline. Unfortunately he was pushed too hard and too fast. In the process he developed Self Mutilation Syndrome. He became a danger to himself and others. Due to stress it was presumed that he was sterile. Until he met Pierre, his future seemed bleak. Once a top athlete with a passion for running, Pierre’s dreams were shattered when he was crippled by rheumatism. Plagued by insecurity and depression, he too turned to self-mutilation.  Together they embark on a journey of healing.

Red Dirt Rising (2011)

Red Dirt Rising – Based on a true story, the film shares with us a decade in the lives of Jimmie Lewallen and his wife Carrie as they experience the joys of love and marriage along side the tragedies of war and poverty (1939-1949).

Jimmie and his friends, Bill Blair and Fred Harb, find escape from life’s challenges in racing – born out of hauling moonshine on warm North Carolina evenings – and inadvertently become racing’s earliest heroes. Ultimately their antics laid the ground work for what has become one of the most lucrative sports in the world. A number of racing firsts occurred during the The Fightin’ Forties, making this film a sensational history lesson as well as an exciting journey of romance, friendship and action.

The Story of Joseph and His Brethren (1962)

Boldest Biblical spectacle of all!

From the pages of the Old Testament comes the story of Joseph, beloved son of Jacob and steadfast servant of God. He is presented as the favored son of Jacob and Rachel, sold as a boy into slavery by his brothers, who were jealous of Joseph's dreams and of his coat of many colors given him by Jacob. In Egypt, Joseph gained a position of authority in the household of his master, Potiphar, and was later imprisoned on the false accusations of Potiphar's wife. He was released after interpreting Pharaoh's dream of the lean and fat cows. Pharaoh renamed him Zaphnath-paaneah and took him into favor. Due to the obedience of Joseph to his God, Egypt is greatly blessed. Joseph's recognition of his brothers in the famine years when he was governor over Egypt is a famous scene.

Come Follow Me (2013)

Come Follow Me explores what it means to be a disciple, a follower of Jesus by depicting scenes from the life of the Apostle Peter as he journeys with Jesus. Peter's story is full of misunderstanding, false pride, misplaced zeal, doubts, fears, and even denial. This short film traces Peter's rocky journey from the day he heard Jesus call his name to the post-resurrection conversation in which Jesus charges Peter to “feed my sheep.” Over time Peter was transformed from fearful denier to the bold leader of the early church. The answer for Peter, as it is for followers of Christ today, was found in the power and promise of Jesus' words. The film is also designed to be an effective evangelism tool. Those without much biblical knowledge will be given a excellent introduction to the gospel message and invited to Come and follow Him. From the award-winning producers of The Road to Emmaus, Come Follow Me stars Bruce Marchiano (Visual Bible Series, The Encounter) as Jesus and Emilio Doorasingh (Apostle Peter and the Last Supper, Kingdom of Heaven) as the Apostle Peter. Includes English and Spanish audio and English captioning.

America's Godly Heritage also provides excerpts from court cases showing that for 160 years Christian principles were part of official American public life. You'll see numerous charted statistics showing what has happened to America since the courts began rejecting the Founders' beliefs.

Runaway Slave (2012)

Run from Tyranny to Liberty

As Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. stood on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in the summer of 1963, he delivered one of the most powerful speeches in our nation's history. Known for its famous line, "I have a dream," Dr. King concluded his speech with these words:

"And when this happens, when we allow freedom to ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God's children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual, 'Free at last, free at last! Thank God Almighty, we're free at last!'"

Now, nearly a half-century later, has his dream become reality? Have we allowed freedom to truly ring? Or has that longed-for freedom somehow become even more elusive?

In RUNAWAY SLAVE, an intriguing new documentary that opens in theaters this summer, Rev. C.L. Bryant journeys across America to find answers. A one-time NAACP local chapter president, Rev. Bryant discovers that by buying into the entitlement mindset of "progressives," the black community has traded one form of tyranny for another.

Using leading black conservatives as "conductors," Rev. Bryant believes it is time for a new Underground Railroad to help liberate all Americans from the Government plantation that has left the black community dealing with a new form of slavery: entitlements.

"Why are we still thinking we are not free at last? What ideas are keeping us down?" Rev. Bryant asks. "For too long, we have been depending on other people for our success. We have to pursue our happiness; our happiness is not provided to us. If we are relying on someone else for our wellbeing, that in itself is a form of slavery."

From our nation's capital and freedom's birthplace, to the dens of slavery and Jim Crow, to wherever a light for liberty is shining, this runaway slave looks to bring hope to the oppressed. Among the leaders he talks with along the way are Dr. King's niece, Dr. Alveda King; former presidential candidate Herman Cain; Congressman Allen West; economist and author Dr. Thomas Sowell; talk-show host and author Glenn Beck; the late Andrew Breitbart. We also meet a new generation of young freedom fighters who are on the front lines of change!

Rev. Bryant's conclusion? It's time to run. "Run away from economic slavery. Run toward the blessings of liberty. Let us remain strong in this fight. Run away from socialism; run away from progressivism. And if you get tired, America … run harder!"
