My Run (2011)

He wanted to accomplish the impossible: run 75 consecutive marathons in 75 consecutive days to bring attention to the incredibly difficult lives of single-parent families. He ran in spite of freezing rain and unbearable heat, in spite of chest pains and bone fractures that wracked his 57-year-old body. He just kept running - each day, every day.

The Gospel Blimp (1967)

A delightful satire with a message based on Joe Bayly's book

This entertaining comedy features an enthusiastic but misguided group of church people who seek to evangelize their town with a blimp. A great lesson is learned when basic Christian evangelistic ideas are exchanged for "good public relations."

When the blimp flies over Middletown dumping a load of firebomb tracts on an unsuspecting town, the fun is on. Despite the best of intentions of the group to evangelize their neighbors, everything goes haywire in a rollicking series of misadventures. Underlying the humor of the whole situation is a lesson in Christian witnessing you will never forget.

Through it all, there is a familiarity about the people and the feelings they have that make one stop and wonder whether this couldn't really happen. The thoughtful message that persistently comes through lingers long to challenge and inspire. Young and old alike will want to see this picture. It is a delightful witty comment on our willingness to substitute committee action for personal responsibility.
