The Road Trip U.S.A (2010)

1,500 Miles, 850 Gallons of Gas, 34 States, 10 Weeks, 3 Guys, 1 Life Changing Trip.

In today's society, people are gripped with the realities of high gas prices, crime, broken families and a fear of terrorism. America is fragmented over a number of serious issues which keep most of us from living the American Dream and knowing God's plan for our lives.

Many of our nation's problems began when prayer and the Bible were taken out of our public schools in the early 60s. Statistics show that since 1963 (the year our car was made) violent crime and teen suicide have gone up 400% and teen pregnancy has tripled. Youth in America today, we are seen as apathetic, calloused and hopelessly ungrateful.

Our passion is to spread the hope of Christ throughout the United States again, so like modern day Lewis and Clarks, we embarked on a nostalgic road trip in a classic 1963 Mercury Comet convertible nicknamed "Gretchen." We filled the trunk with Bibles and Christian surf movies, which we handed out to random people along the way, as we encouraged them to appreciate the freedoms we have left here in America and to seek God again.
