When a troubled young man on the run from the law (Pitre) stumbles upon a beautiful young woman (Whitley) and three eccentric sanctified spirits trying to save the First Greater Saint New Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church from a land developer, anything can and does happen in a soulful new urban drama.
